The third (of three) 4x6 art prints that will come in a whole bunch of the rewards for the Dylan Meconis Library 2012 Kickstarter! Each one commemorates one of the books I’ll be printing, and this one is for my comic Outfoxed.
Man, the project is already past $19k, from an original goal of $15k! How fantastic is that? The answer is: super fantastic.
Hey hey, it’s art print #2 that comes as part of several rewards in my Kickstarter! This is Claire from Bite Me!, through the centuries.
The project crossed the minimum threshold for funding after less than a week. Exciting and gratifying! Now if we can make it to $17,890 I’ll get to include a new Bite Me! story in the anniversary edition book. I really want to do this, so I’m excited to have so much breathing room to make that stretch goal. Whee! Thanks, everybody!
Here’s the first of the three 4x6 art prints that will be offered in several of the rewards packages over on the Dylan Meconis Library 2012 Kickstarter! It commemorates the Danse Macabre 2.0 book that will be one volume in a three-book release.
Translated, the Latin reads “I was what you are, you will be what I am.”
The original author is the Roman poet Horace, and variations of the motto have been inscribed on gravestones (and other memento mori) for centuries.
