(Click picture to see the full-size version.) So over at the The Official Handbook to the Marvel Universe REDUXE Edition I managed to snag Rogue. The proprietors are collecting re-draws of every entry in the handbook; guidelines were that you could do just about anything to details of the character’s design, but the pose should be similar. In my mind Rogue always works best as a street kid skater punk runaway, confused and pissed-off. I think her curse/power - absorbing other peoples’ powers (and memories, and consciousness…) with a single touch - is a nice metaphor for being a young person desperate to find a place in the world,  through mimicry or outright theft. Rogue is bad news because she’s basically a vampire who can bite you without even knowing she’s done it. That’s adolescence for a lot of people. I had fun!
